Van Gogh Inspired Painting Workshop
Time & Location
About the Event
Van Gogh lived in England as a young man for several crucial years. He walked the streets alone, dreaming of the future. He fell in love with British culture, especially the novels of Charles Dickens and George Eliot. And he was inspired by the art he saw here, including paintings by Constable and Millais which are featured in the exhibition. They affected his paintings throughout his career.
At our Van Gogh-inspired workshop, with no previous experience required, you'll be guided step by step by a practicing artist to create your masterpiece. If you want to go off-piste, that's totally okay too. I am on hand to offer support and guidance as you create your own version of Vincent’s paintings on canvas. Everybody's paintings end up unique - you'll be amazed by what you can create.
If you’re ready to feel inspired and get creative while learning about one of the most influential painters of the 19 century, then book onto our Van Gogh-inspired painting workshop.
